GEORGE TOWN, Oct 26 – Fifteen crew members of the Royal Malaysian Navy’s (RMN) vessel, KLD Tunas Samudera (KLD TSA), on Friday visited the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) navy ship, Po Lang, docking at the Swettenham Pier Cruise Terminal (SPCT) here.

According to RMN’s Facebook page, the executive visit, led by KLD TSA Commanding Officer Commander Azmi Abu Zarin, was one of the activities carried out during Po Lang’s operational visit to Malaysia from Oct 23 to 26.

“The Commanding Officer of Po Lang, Commander Ma Wenyong, and his crew welcomed the arrival of the KLD TSA crew.

“The visit began with a briefing on the Upper Deck, followed by a session that included sharing experiences, knowledge about maritime affairs and sailing, as well as exchanging views on training management aboard the vessel,” read the post.

According to the Chinese Embassy in Malaysia, Po Lang, currently on an ocean-going training and visit mission, arrived at SPCT for a three-day technical stop.
