KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 23 — IJM Corp Bhd has signed a supplementary concession agreement with the government to extend the New Pantai Expressway (NPE) and restructure its toll rates.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia on Friday, IJM Corp said the NPE extension will be a fully elevated 15km highway, including directional ramps, with one new toll plaza.
It added that the extension will connect the Pantai Dalam Toll Plaza to the Jalan Istana Interchange via Jalan Syed Putra, while the current NPE toll rate will remain until the concession period expires.
The NPE is a wholly owned subsidiary of Road Builder (M) Holdings Bhd, which in turn is a wholly owned subsidiary of IJM Corp.
At today’s close, IJM Corp’s share price eased one sen to RM2.90, with 7.47 million shares traded.
