SHENZHEN, Sept 22 — South Korea’s An Se-young secured her second straight China Masters badminton title today, the Olympic champion cruising to victory in a superb performance against home hero Han Yue.
The 23-year-old top seed needed just 33 minutes to overpower third seed Han in a 21-11, 21-3 triumph in China’s southern city of Shenzhen.
In the men’s final, local Chinese star Weng Hongyang defeated Lin Chun-yi of Taiwan in straight games 21-11, 21-15.
