PETALING JAYA, Jan 25: The health ministry has reported 3,084 Covid-19 cases and 11 deaths in the past 24 hours.
Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said there were 3,638 recoveries, bringing the total number of those discharged to 145,084. This is the third day in a row that daily recoveries have outnumbered infections.
In a statement, Noor Hisham said the total number of infections now stands at 186,849.
There are 41,076 active cases with 261 patients being treated in intensive care and 101 requiring respiratory assistance.
Meanwhile, the 11 deaths today brings the number of fatalities to 689.
