PETALING JAYA Feb 6 — The health ministry has reported 3,847 Covid-19 cases and 12 deaths in the past 24 hours.
Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said there were 1,692 recoveries, bringing the total number of those discharged to 186,970.
In a statement, Noor Hisham said the total number of infections now stands at 238,721.
There are 50,894 active cases, with 305 patients being treated in intensive care and 139 requiring respiratory assistance.
Meanwhile, the 12 deaths take the death toll to 857.
