KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 4 — RON97 and unsubsidised RON95 prices nationwide will increase by three sen per litre to RM3.29 and RM2.66, respectively, from today to December 10.
In a statement yesterday, the Finance Ministry (MOF) said diesel will remain at RM3.08 per litre in Peninsular Malaysia and RM2.15 per litre in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan in the same period.
Subsidised RON95 under the BUDI Madani RON95 (BUDI95) scheme will remain at RM1.99 per litre.
“In line with the increase in global oil prices, the government has set the retail price of RON97 petrol at RM3.29 per litre and unsubsidised RON95 at RM2.66 per litre for the December 4 to 10, 2025, period.
“The government will continue to review and adjust the retail prices of RON97 and unsubsidised RON95 based on current global oil market developments, but price stability remains a priority,” the statement read.
The MOF explained that the weekly petroleum prices are set in accordance with the Automatic Pricing Mechanism formula.
The statement added that the government will continue to monitor global crude oil price trends, as well as take appropriate measures to ensure people’s well-being and welfare.
