KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 15 — His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, extended his congratulations to Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) on their success in winning the FA Cup for the fourth consecutive time.
In a Facebook post, His Majesty also expressed his appreciation for the strong support consistently shown by the people of Johor and the loyal supporters of the Southern Tigers squad.
Sultan Ibrahim also said he hoped the achievement would serve as a catalyst for even greater performances in the future as well as an inspiration for the development of national football.
In the final held at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium here tonight, JDT defeated Sabah FC 5-0.
