Kuala Lumpur , May 30 — The health ministry has reported 6,999 Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours.
In a tweet, health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said Selangor recorded the highest number of infections with 2,477, followed by Kuala Lumpur at 616, Kelantan at 612 and Sarawak at 513.
Perlis, which is the smallest state in Malaysia, recorded the least number of new cases with 7 new infections, followed by the Federal Territories of Putrajaya at 13 and Labuan at 133.
