KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 10 — The Global Tour of Heze Juye Gongbi Peony Paintings, featuring various original works of aesthetic peony painting in China, is currently underway in the capital city of Kuala Lumpur.
Nearly 100 original works of Gongbi Juye Peony Paintings, including silk scarves and other creative products based on peony flowers, are the focus of visitors to the exhibition.
Themed “Blooming Along The Silk Road.- Creating Prosperity Together”, the exhibition, which is part of the Belt and Road Initiative, is also a symbol of cultural cooperation between China and Malaysia.
Peonies are a symbol of wealth and prosperity in Chinese culture. Heze City is considered the “Peony Capital of China”, becoming a center for developing the artistic excellence and brand of “Gongbi Juye Peony Paintings” to the international stage.
The exhibition, organised by the Information Office of Heze Municipal People’s Government, was supported by Tourism Malaysia and various related associations and agencies.
At the same time, the Juye Gongbi Peony Painting Promotion Center was also inaugurated in Malaysia.
