KOTA KINABALU, Sept 15 — A student allgedly involved in a recent bullying incident at a school in Sabah has been suspended.
Sabah State Education Department Director Datuk Raisin Saidin in a statement said the school took immediate action in accordance with the disciplinary regulations currently in force.
He said the student involved has also been referred to the Guidance and Counselling teacher for intervention purposes.
“The Sabah State Education Department (JPNS) takes the recent bullying misconduct case in a school in Sabah very seriously.
“JPNS will not compromise with bullying misconduct and will always ensure the safety and wellbeing of students, teachers, and the entire education community under its supervision,” the statement read.
