KUCHING, March 5 — AirBorneo is offering special Hari Raya Aidilfitri fares with a 20 per cent discount on normal fares, helping make festive travel more accessible for families and communities across Borneo.
In a statement today, the Sarawak state-owned full-service airline said the special fare offer applies to bookings made from March 5 to 10, for travel between March 14 and 31, enabling more passengers to return home and celebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri with their loved ones.
AirBorneo chief executive officer Megat Ardian Wira Mohd Aminuddin said the initiative reflects the airline’s commitment to supporting communities across Borneo, particularly during important festive periods
“Hari Raya Aidilfitri is a time when families come together to celebrate and reconnect. For many communities across Borneo, air travel remains an essential link that brings loved ones home during the festive season.
“At AirBorneo, we are committed to ensuring that these journeys remain accessible and affordable, particularly for those travelling from rural areas who depend on air connectivity,” he said.
Customers can make their bookings through the airline’s website, call centre or ticketing counters at airport locations, with terms and conditions apply.
AirBorneo currently serves 21 destinations across Sarawak and Sabah, including Rural Air Services (RAS) routes that connect remote communities where air travel remains the primary means of transport.
