KPJ Healthcare’s 3Q 2025 Net Profit Rises to RM93.91 Mln

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 22 — KPJ Healthcare Bhd’s net profit for the third quarter ended Sept 30, 2025 (3Q 2025) rose to RM93.91 million from RM86.03 million a year ago.

Revenue also increased by nine per cent to RM1.12 billion from RM1.03 billion previously, driven by higher patient visits and increased bed capacity in the current quarter compared to the corresponding quarter.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, KPJ Healthcare noted that the Malaysia segment contributed approximately 99 per cent of the group’s total revenue.

“The segment recorded revenue of RM1.10 billion for the current quarter, representing an eight per cent increase compared to RM1.02 billion recorded in the corresponding quarter, largely contributed by the increase in patients’ visits and bed capacity in the current quarter,” it said.

Meanwhile, other segments posted revenue of RM16.0 million for the current quarter, a 27 per cent increase from RM12.6 million recorded in the corresponding quarter.

For the cumulative nine months, KPJ Healthcare added that it recorded a slightly lower net profit of RM233.03 million compared with RM233.30 million a year ago, while revenue increased to RM3.11 billion from RM2.85 billion previously.

On prospects, KPJ Healthcare said the group remains cautiously optimistic about its outlook for the financial year 2025, supported by its ongoing asset optimisation programme, capacity expansion and efforts to enhance operational efficiency.
