KUALA LUMPUR, July 30 — RON97 will be cheaper by four sen, at RM3.17 per litre, from tomorrow to August 6.
In a statement today, the Finance Ministry (MOF) said the RON95 will remain at RM2.05 per litre, while diesel will be unchanged at RM2.15 per litre in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan, and RM2.91 per litre in the peninsula.
MOF said the prices were set based on the weekly retail pricing of petroleum products, using the Automatic Pricing Mechanism formula.
“The government will continue monitoring global oil price trends and take appropriate measures to safeguard the people’s welfare and well-being,” the statement said.
