ISTANBUL, April 3 — Authorities in Abu Dhabi suspended operations at the Habshan gas facilities after debris from an intercepted missile struck the site, the media office said, Anadolu Ajansi reported.
Emergency crews responded to a fire at the facility, with no injuries reported, the Abu Dhabi Media Office said on the social media platform X.
The incident followed a successful interception by air defence systems, which led to falling debris at the site.
Regional tensions have escalated since the US and Israel launched a joint offensive on Iran on Feb 28, killing more than 1,340 people to date, including then-Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
Tehran has retaliated with drone and missile strikes targeting Israel, as well as Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf countries hosting US military assets.
