All Calm in Sabah as Musa Aman and Hajiji Arrive Amid Assembly Dissolution Speculation

KOTA KINABALU, Oct 6 — The situation is calm at several main focus locations in Kota Kinabalu following speculation that the Sabah State Legislative Assembly will be dissolved.

A Bernama team at Istana Seri Kinabalu saw the vehicle carrying Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor entering the palace grounds at 8.51am.

Meanwhile, the vehicle carrying the Yang Dipertua Negeri of Sabah, Tun Musa Aman, entered the palace grounds at 9.20am.

Several media personnel had also converged in front of the palace as early as 8am.

Meanwhile, media personnel also began gathering at Menara Kinabalu, the state administrative centre, since 9am to make preparations to cover the announcement of the state assembly’s dissolution.

It’s business as usual at Menara Kinabalu, but it is learnt that an event with state leaders is to be held at the venue today.

At press time, there has been no official announcement regarding the dissolution of the state assembly or any invitation to attend a press conference on the matter. — Bernama
