PUTRAJAYA, Dec 3 – The Prime Minister’s former senior political secretary Datuk Seri Shamsul Iskandar Mohd Akin and businessman Albert Tei will be prosecuted at the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court tomorrow (Dec 4).
Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission chief commissioner Tan Sri Azam Baki said both men will each face several charges under the MACC Act.
He said the charges concern allegations that Tei paid bribes to recover funds said to have been distributed to several Sabah assemblymen.
“Another individual, Sofia Rini Buyong, will not be prosecuted as she is a prosecution witness,” he said on Wednesday (Dec 3).
