KLANG, Oct 2 – More than 2,000 people gathered in Klang on Thursday for the wedding procession of Raja Muda of Selangor Tengku Amir Shah, whose marriage to Datin Paduka Seri Afzaa Fadini Abdul Aziz was solemnised today.
Well-wishers started showing up in droves from 7am for the procession, which started at the Sultan Abdul Aziz Royal Gallery and ended at Istana Alam Shah.
Attendees were dressed to the nines for the joyous occasion, and waved Selangor flags as the royal couple drove past in a Rolls Royce.
Selangor Mufti Dato’ Anhar Opir officiated the marriage solemnisation ceremony at Istana Alam Shah Klang.
In preparation for the momentous event, the Klang Royal City Council (MBDK) allocated over RM3 million for repairs, upgrades and beautification in the city.
