KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 16 – His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, and Her Majesty the Queen, Raja Zarith Sofiah, have extended Malaysia Day greetings and prayed that Malaysia would always be blessed with lasting peace and be protected from any calamity.
In a post on Sultan Ibrahim’s official Facebook page, Sultan Ibrahim expressed gratitude for the unity and spirit of consensus among the people of various races, which has remained the nation’s strength since the early days.
This year’s edition is being held in Penang, in line with the practice of rotating the venue between Sabah, Sarawak and Peninsular Malaysia each year.
