Trump Breaks Record For Longest State of the Union Speech

WASHINGTON, Feb 26 — United States (US) President Donald Trump set a new record with his State of the Union address on Tuesday, delivering a nearly two-hour speech before Congress, German Press Agency (dpa) reported.

His remarks lasted around 1 hour and 48 minutes, surpassing any president since records began in 1964, according to the American Presidency Project.

The previous record of around 1 hour and 29 minutes was set by Democrat Bill Clinton during his 2000 address.
