SINGAPORE, April 3 — Ride-hailing platform Gojek Singapore has announced a Fuel Support Package to help its driver-partners cope with the rising operating costs amid increasing fuel prices.
In a circular posted on its official Telegram channel, Gojek Singapore said the package includes a higher driver fee of S$0.90 (S$1=RM3.12) from April 10 to May 31, 2026, up from the current S$0.50/S$0.80 rate for all services except GoTaxi.
“We understand that rising fuel prices are putting pressure on your earnings and we’re committed to helping you manage rising operating costs and maintain your livelihood,” it said.
In addition, Gojek Singapore increased the upfront fuel discounts to 23 per cent for its driver-partners starting Apr 1.
“As part of a joint initiative with Esso, we are providing up to S$50 in additional fuel support for eligible driver-partners who have been actively driving with Gojek,” it added.
Earlier this week, another major ride-hailing platform, Grab Singapore, also announced S$1.1 million driver-partner support package following volatility in fuel prices amid the ongoing West Asia conflicts.
It will also impose a temporary fuel surcharge of S$0.40 on passenger fares from April 7 to May 31, 2026, on top of the existing S$0.50 driver fee.
