KUALA LUMPUR, May 28 — Matrix Concepts Holdings Bhd has promoted Kelvin Lee Chin Chuan as its group managing director effective June 1, 2026.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, the property developer said the 35-year-old currently serves as group executive director, a position he has held since April 1, 2025.
“Lee gained vast experience as structural engineer at Aecom Malaysia from 2016-2018 before joining Matrix Group in 2018 as executive assistant to the group managing director. He left the company in 2021 to pursue his career by assuming directorship roles in several family-owned companies.
“He was appointed as non-executive director of Matrix Concepts on Sept 1, 2023, and subsequently as group executive director on April 1, 2025 until present,” the company said.
According to the filing, Lee holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Master of Civil Engineering from the University of Melbourne.
Matrix Concepts further said Lee is the son of Datuk Seri Lee Tian Hock, the group executive deputy chairman of Matrix Concepts.
The company also disclosed that Kelvin is director and/or shareholder in several family-owned companies involved in property development businesses similar to Matrix Concepts Group.
Meanwhile, the filing showed that Kelvin has direct interest of 26.34 million shares in Matrix Concepts and indirect interest of 3.00 million shares held through his spouse, Soh Jo Xin.
