Body in Aircraft Wheel Well: Cops Release Photo of Man, Urge Relatives to Come Forward

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 15 – Police have released a photograph of the man found dead in the wheel well of an aircraft at Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 2 (KLIA2) to aid in identifying him.

KLIA OCPD Asst Comm Ravi Munusamy said in a statement on Tuesday (Sept 15) that police are still trying to trace the man’s next of kin.

“Those who have family members or known acquaintances who have been uncontactable or missing since Aug 19, and especially those with any links to KLIA, are urged to contact the nearest police station,” he said.

The decomposed body of an unidentified man was found inside the wheel well of an aircraft at KLIA2 on Aug 27.

It was found at 6.55am in the wheel well of a flight from Tokyo, Japan, which landed at about 6.30am.
