National 4x100m Relay Team Wins Bronze at U-23 Asian Championships

KUALA LUMPUR, July 13 — The national men’s 4x100metre (m) relay team had to settle for the bronze medal at the 2026 Under-23 Asian Athletics Championships in Ordos, China, on Sunday.

According to Athletics Malaysia, the quartet of Muhammad Azeem Mohd Fahmi, Reeve Kua Man Hong, Pengiran Aidil Auf Hajam and Mohamad Armin Zahryl Abdul Latif clocked 39.20 seconds (s) to finish behind the host nation team that claimed gold with a time of 38.38s ahead of the Hong Kong quartet that secured the silver medal after recording 38.88s.

In other events, Mohamad Armin once again broke his own national men’s 110m hurdles record in the final.

After clocking 13.63s in the heats on Saturday, he improved his time to 13.58s in the final to finish fourth.
