MOSCOW, July 10 — OPEC+ countries with voluntary restrictions increased oil production in June by 2.1 million barrels per day to 32.4 million barrels, and produced 7.5 million barrels per day below the quota level, the International Energy Agency (IEA) said in its fresh report on Friday, Sputnik/RIA Novosti reported.
According to report, the total OPEC+ oil production in June amounted to 32.44 million barrels per day against 30.3 million barrels in May.
The oil production of the 17 parties to the agreement (excluding Mexico, Iran, Libya and Venezuela) increased during this period to 26.38 million barrels per day from 24.21 million barrels per day. However, the target quota level, taking into account the voluntary restrictions of the seven countries and compensation schedules for them, was 33.89 million barrels in June. Thus, OPEC+ countries produced 7.51 million barrels less than the target.
