Worshippers Attend Eid Al-adha Prayer at Prophet’s Mosque

MADINAH, May 27 — A large congregation of worshippers performed Eid Al-Adha prayer on Wednesday at the Prophet’s Mosque in a deeply spiritual atmosphere, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

The sermon was delivered by the Imam and Khatib of the Prophet’s Mosque, Sheikh Dr Ahmed Al-Hudhaifi, who began by praising and glorifying Allah Almighty, extending Eid greetings to Muslims, and praying for the acceptance of their righteous deeds and the continuation of divine blessings.

He emphasised that Eid Al-Adha is an occasion to strengthen the bonds of love, unity, and solidarity, encouraging Muslims to cooperate in good deeds and to pray for the continued blessings of security, stability, and prosperity for the nation.

He highlighted Saudi Arabia’s care for the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors, and praised the leadership’s efforts to ensure pilgrims and Umrah performers can carry out their rituals in comfort, security, and peace.
