KUALA LUMPUR, April 18 — Sunway Lagoon has announced the official opening of the Sunway Lagoon Mart in Sunway Pyramid, marking the expansion of its retail arm with a dedicated space that brings together merchandise from across Sunway City Kuala Lumpur (SCKL) in one cohesive offering.
Sunway Lagoon said that the new store presents a curated selection of products inspired by the experiences, attractions, and brands within SCKL.
“Sunway Lagoon Mart is open daily from 10.00 am to 10.00 pm, and welcomes shoppers, park visitors, and the public to explore its offerings.
“It ofers a wide range of exclusive SCKL products, including Sunway mascots plushies, limited edition collections and Malaysian-inspired souvenirs and memorabilia, allowing both local and international visitors to bring home a piece of SCKL,” the theme park said in a statement today.
Featured mascots representing various Sunway business units available include Gogo and Bebe from Sunway Lagoon, Samson and Sophia from Sunway University, Leo and Leona from Sunway 2 of 4 Pyramid Mall, Squarrel from Sunway Square Mall, Elfie from Sunway Medical Centre, and Guink from Sunway Multicare Pharmacy.
“These characters are brought to life through a range of merchandise, offering visitors a meaningful way to connect with the broader SCKL experience,” Sunway Lagoon shared.
The official opening of Sunway Lagoon Mart was officiated by Director of Sunway Group senior managing director Dato K L Tan, alongside Sunway Malls chief executive officer (CEO) Chan Hoi Choy, Sunway Pyramid Malls senior general manager Jason Chin, Senior Director of Leasing Michael Poh, Sunway Theme Parks CEO Calvin Ho, Sunway Theme Parks chief financial officer Kong Beng Kuin, and Sunway Theme Parks senior general manager of operations Nurul Nuzairi.
Designed as a family-friendly retail space, Sunway Lagoon Mart offers visitors the opportunity to extend their visit beyond the parks through a range of keepsakes, collectibles, and locally inspired merchandise.
In addition to Sunway mascot plushies, visitors can also find Sunway Tiny Toys, Montigo x Sunway Lagoon bottles, Inside Scoop blind boxes, and Gogo & Bebe Wonderland plushies.
